Mr. White is a co-founder and the CEO of Quantbot Technologies, LP. Paul began his successful career working for a major European software company in the UK, taking on multiple senior technology roles over the years. He then moved to Morgan Stanley to head a real-time data group, before switching paths to co-found an Internet startup. Leaving pure technology roles behind, he returned to Morgan Stanley to be part of the senior team within their Equity Trading Lab (ETL) proprietary trading group, where he was responsible for developing statistical arbitrage black box automated trading strategies. His final role before co-founding Quantbot was at Merrill Lynch as the co-head of their statistical arbitrage proprietary trading group (QSA). As an original founding member of QSA, he was responsible for creating a new global business from scratch. Paul holds a BSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. 

Mr. Mahboob is a co-founder and the Chief Investment Officer of Quantbot Technologies, LP. 

Ashar started off in quantitative developer roles at Bank of America Securities and Fuji Capital Markets in New York before becoming a senior member of Morgan Stanley’s Equity Trading Lab (ETL) proprietary trading group. He then progressed to Merrill Lynch, where he served as a Managing Director and co-headed their statistical arbitrage proprietary trading group (QSA) along with Paul White. His expertise in the quantitative finance field eventually led him to co-found Quantbot in 2009, serving as the CIO. Ashar holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and MS degree in Computational Finance. 

Mr. Lisak is a co-founder and partner of Quantbot Technologies, LP. Michael’s career began at Morgan Stanley, where he served as an executive director within their equity technology division. Additionally, he was a member of the Equity Trading Lab (ETL), where he specialized in algorithmic trading and electronic market making. Michael’s role within the ETL helped to provide cutting edge cash equities market making and algorithmic trading solutions to Morgan Stanley’s trading desks world-wide. His most recent experience before co-founding Quantbot was as a member of Merrill Lynch’s statistical arbitrage (QSA) and automated market making (AMM) groups, responsible for electronic market making and high frequency trading technology. Michael holds a BS in Computer Science. 

Mr. Lam is a partner of Quantbot Technologies Ltd and the Managing Director of the UK office. Before joining Quantbot, Thuong took on many responsibilities as a vice president within Morgan Stanley’s IT department, in addition to being a member of Morgan Stanley’s ETL proprietary trading group. He then moved to Merrill Lynch to head their QSA group in EMEA, specializing in quantitative statistical arbitrage investments and electronic trading. Soon after the establishment of Quantbot Technologies LP in New York, Thuong was responsible for setting up Quantbot’s European trading operation based in London. He holds a BSc in Computer Science. 

Mr. Wu is a partner of Quantbot Technologies Ltd and the Managing Director of the HK office. 

He previously served as the head of QSA-Asia at Merrill Lynch, specializing in quantitative statistical-arbitrage strategic investments and electronic trading in the Asia region. Johnson then became a board member at a private investment partnership involved in equity arbitrage trading in Europe in addition to being a founding member of the core automated options market-making group at Liquid Capital Markets. He has also held positions in various investment banks, spending time as both a member of the Morgan Stanley ETL proprietary trading group and as the regional head of equity derivatives technology in UBS and Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong. Johnson was an aerospace research engineer by training, but later moved to the financial industry at Barings Securities and Lehman Brothers in London. He now manages Quantbot’s Hong Kong office, in addition to his involvement in entrepreneurial startups in the Asia region. Johnson holds a B.Eng in Energy Engineering, a M.Sc. in Computer Science, and a MSSc in Global Political Economy.

Mr. Crimi is a co-founder and CTO of Quantbot Technologies, LP. Before Quantbot, Tom worked in the chip design industry, writing software for optimizing gate placement and power routing. He then took on a role at Merrill Lynch as a member of the statistical arbitrage proprietary trading group, QSA. Tom holds a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Mr. Cilia is a co-founder and partner at Quantbot Technologies, LP. He previously managed the data team at ITG Inc before advancing to the position of data team lead of Merrill Lynch’s proprietary statistical arbitrage group (QSA). Within this role, he was responsible for expanding and improving the data used for all research and trading across multiple asset classes. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Computer Science.

Mr. Thakare is a co-founder and Chief Trading Officer of Quantbot Technologies, LP. Rohit’s career in finance began at Morgan Stanley, working within the ETL proprietary trading group. He then moved on to Merrill Lynch, where he was part of the QSA group and worked as a senior programmer. Rohit holds a MS in Engineering and BS in Polymer Engineering.

Ms. Wisdom is the general counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Quantbot Technologies, LP.  Before joining Quantbot, she served as general counsel and CCO to other registered investment advisers, such as SB Schonfeld Fund Advisers, LLC.  Within these roles, she was responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory legal and compliance issues within the advisory firm.  Debra has also serviced several registered investment adviser clients, primarily Permal Asset Management, LLC, as an associate at the law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, LLP.  Debra holds a JD degree in law, a BA degree in Economics, and a minor in Business Administration.
