This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate Diwali in the office! The festival symbolizes joy, prosperity, and the victory of light over darkness. We enjoyed chai and bites catered by Chote Miya / Bombay House Hospitality. We hope to host many more events highlighting different cultures in the future and we wish everyone a bright and joyful Diwali!
Last night, Quantbot’s New York office participated in the annual Women with Balls Bowling Fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Coalition. They gathered at Lucky Strike Times Square and enjoyed free food, drinks, bowling, and prizes while raising money for a very important cause, breast cancer research.
The team had a fun and rewarding evening, raising a total of $3,600 for the charity! We are excited to participate again next year and continue to help further vital cancer research. Please click here to donate to the National Breast Cancer Coalition!
We were thrilled to welcome students from the CMU MSCF program to our office last Friday, August 22nd! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the future leaders of finance and showcase what Quantbot is all about.

Last night, the London office had loads of fun at Flight Club, an interactive darts bar, playing a variety of games against one another. While Tim talked big game, it was Joe who ended up as the overall winner of the evening! With each mini game, two people were paired together to compete against the others, showcasing everyone’s dart skills and aiming accuracy.
No London evening out is complete without some pizza and beer, which the team enjoyed as they played. Here’s to another fun summer event for the UK office!
On Wednesday, the New York office had a farewell event for the summer interns, as the internships for 2025 wrap up throughout August. The interns celebrated the end of an exciting, insightful, and successful summer at Quantbot along with the rest of the team, reflecting on the past few months of learning and developing as professionals.
Everyone enjoyed delicious sandwiches from All'Antico Vinaio, as well as ice cream sundaes in the kitchen, complete with a wide variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. While we are sad for the interns to leave, we look forward to seeing many of them as future Quantbot employees who will help to grow and enhance the company!
Throughout this summer, all of our New York interns have had the opportunity to enjoy group lunches with each of our US-based Quantbot partners. Over delicious catered food, the interns had the chance to pick the brains of our seasoned professionals, as well learn about the partners’ experiences starting and growing Quantbot over 15+ years. It is always exciting to meet the new generation of enthusiastic interns, and Paul, Ashar, Mike, Rohit, and Tom are all glad to have had the chance to speak with them in a more personal setting.
In the London office, Thuong also held a lunch with our two interns, alongside directors Dan and Tim, as they all discussed their progress that has been made this summer. As we are coming to the end of the intern season, we wish nothing but the best for those who have joined us at Quantbot this summer!
On July 17th, the New York Office team enjoyed an exciting and flavorful evening with a whiskey tasting and hands-on cocktail and mocktail making class. Hosted by the wonderful Melissa from NightInn, the session was a fun and interactive way for employees and interns to unwind, learn new skills, and mingle with each other.
The Event featured an abbreviated Whiskey tasting to kick things off. Then the class shifted into mixology mode, where everyone was guided through the steps to create four different cocktails and mocktails which featured a Tropical Old Fashioned, a classic and Peach Whiskey Sour with alternatives using black-tea for the mocktails. Each team member was provided with their own shaker and tools, making it a fully immersive and personalized experience.
To complement the drinks, there were delicious bites provided by Mangia, giving everyone the perfect pairing of snacks to enjoy while mixing. Overall, it was a refreshing and fun-filled break after a long workday and a great opportunity for the team to bond. Cheers!
After a long day at work, there is nothing better than to walk into the kitchen to find it transformed into a cocktail making station! The London office had the treat last night to learn how to make Espresso Martinis and Passionfruit Martinis by a professional mixologist, as well as compete against one another to see who could create the best original concoction. While some made the bold choice to add energy drinks and protein shakes to their creations, Chanya and Tori’s unique fruity cocktails with muddled fresh berries ultimately won the competition.
The event-filled summer is not over yet, and we look forward to more fun times for team bonding coming up!
The London office welcomed Mike this week, and took the team out for a fun night of simulation clay pigeon shooting at Clays bar on Tuesday.
Everyone’s competitive sides came out as we played a variety of games, with Duncan and Vincent battling it out for the overall champion of the night. Each employee got a chance to play alongside their coworkers in teams, while also fending for themselves in 1 on 1 competitions.
We enjoyed loads of food, drinks, and overall had a great time chatting with Mike, alongside our new hire, Yuhao! As we celebrate the addition of two more interns in the coming weeks, the UK team is looking forward to an exciting summer full of events.
The Quantbot NY team enjoyed some friendly competition this Tuesday at Open Squash, which we brought back again this year after its success last year! The interns got a chance to show off their skills on the court against the employees, as well as chat with everyone outside of the office space.
The evening consisted of squash, food, and drinks, allowing everyone to unwind and have fun after work. We look forward to the other exciting events planned for the summer!
